"Checked out the newly open Hot Star Large Fried Chicken in Pointe-Claire, in the same strip as Copper Branch and the Kinton Ramen. Ordered the original, salt and pepper and a cheese filled one along with a green apple yogurt drink, (not pictured because my kids chugged it down too fast. Cooked to order so it was piping hot, super crispy and just to keep in mind, these are not boneless. Friendly service and huge portions. #supportlocal"

"Tasty chicken dishes prepared quickly and served at very good prices. Like most places that serve chicken combos, the menu is fairly simple, but there are enough options to please anybody who comes to this type of restaurant. The seasoning is quiteunique, I love the taste. This is a great place to grab a quick, tasty, filling meal."

"We ordered the 1/4 leg combo and the chicken poutine. The poutine had a generous amount of chopped BBQ chicken on it. The gravy and fries were not hot enough to sufficiently melt the cheese curds though. The gravy was a different take on the classic poutine gravy. Perhaps beer is a secret ingredient in the gravy? The chicken was cooked perfectly. It had a subtle lemony taste. All other Portuguese chicken I have had has been more garlicky. The side salad was very fresh with a unique and tasty Caesar like dressing. I was surprised at the freshness because it was pre-made and served in a plastic box. I have to comment on the service. The staff were friendly, helpful and seemed to enjoy not only their job but working together and for the customers. This goes a long way in the service industry. Cudos Campo!"

"Fries, Gravy And chicken ( Poteen) its not my thing. Tasted a little weird. Others had different items and it looked and they said tasted good. Long wait but the line moves pretty well. Bar and drinks were good."

"TOWN. I love this place! Has Halal chicken, the super tasty and tasty! Your hot sauce is only AMAZING. I cannot express you how much I love this place; I always get that chicken. I'll be back! The seating and the ambience are not so great, it is more of a quick stop where you only have your meal and holiday. I am usually more in beautiful decoration and chic seating, but the food is so good that I don't even care. Order the two legs trio. RECOMMENDATIONS!"
