"Without question prices for food is going up so to find a good quality and affordable meal is getting more and more difficult Now the food at Lupe 's is not gourmet but it does deliver in terms of freshness and nostalgia Got the beef, been, and cheese burrito and it didn 't disappoint (A+ The soft taco was good but in hindsight a hard taco is the way to go (B- The fire sauce that 's really what it is, spicy but a hint of sweet that makes you eat more as your mouth burns Service is fast and on point This is more a grab and go place although they do have areas for seating Overall; a nice place, local and great for a bite before or after a Dodgers Game!!!"

"As their website says, their tamale are wet,' because they are hot (temperature.) when they let them cool (lol, if they can resist) then they are not so wet and everything remains together when they cut or get them out of the hectic. Remember, they're just cash. they have a breath, but like everything else, it will charge them extra to get their money out. So they prepare and bring them cash. I bought something (11/24/2020) 2 dozen cheese and 6 bark meats, total $53.00 they have a special system for different flavors (attacks), but I tried, but can do this after the holiday. They opened at 6 o'clock I was the 3rd person in the line, I came there at 5:55 o'clock. line gathers quickly. So they remember, shicing and a list of what they want."

"That is the best pizza, I was on other shakey’s at different places, either the sauce is too sweet, pizza under boiled or burned. this special shakey makes the pizza perfect, crust is perfect and the sauce is delicious. the customer service is great, we are offered jalapenos and ranch and the boards are not paper. this shakey is the best! my mom brings us here every week!"

"Bought Spices and mole. Sad to see lot of the specialty shops are now gone. The main motor La Gloria Tortilleria, within the Mercadito, plus the cheese and cream, abarrote deli-mexicatesen the original old one that had been there the last 45 yrs is also gone. A ghost town with some surviving shops and restaurant's. Sad not to hear the echoes of the Mariachi live music. The master of ceremonies yelling out felicitaciones. My childhood memories of going there with my Tia's and their grimy greasy boyfriends. Was worth going. Just to see what is left. Make sure to take enough money for the anotjitos, the huaraches, enquires, gelatinas, bionicos de fruta fresca, and the delicious Aguas frescos. Terrible parking lots of pot holes, lumpy like when you used to drive to old Tijuana. You just shake rattle and roll. And I don't mean our lonjitas. If you love your vehicle, tires and rims don't park in their parking lot. You will have some damage for sure. Plus you need to use you girdles just to get out of your vehicle. Need to be skinny just to get out of the car. Not to many spots to sit down and eat to your hearts desire either..take a pound of patience you will need once you see the lines for food and snacks."
