"Had the worst service and food ever. This place has really downgraded on service and meal quality. Lettuce was old and meat was not flavored at all. Horrible experience."

"The Hubcap grill came highly recommended by two old friends who happen to live in the area. Neither of my two dining companions were huge fans of burgers, but seeing what the specialty here is, we all ordered some kind of burger. We were all blown away by the taste and overall quality of our meal! Tip: Portion sizes here are decidedly large. I considered getting a double, but when our meal came I was very glad that I didn't. Over and above the burgers, the fries they serve here are fried to a perfect golden brown and salted with the exact quality that makes spuds taste better. The fries are large cut, and instantly addictive :"

"I forgot how good Golden Corral Buffets are and I have to say the island's Corral is one of the best I've ever experienced. Just like most people today eating out has become more of a luxury due to high prices. I mean a dinner for 2 at McDonald's will put a big dent in a $20 bill and a sit down restaurant will cost at least $50 for two. So when you find a gem like the Golden Corral where you can get hot and a lot for under $40. The food is always fresh. The staff is amazing and will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a pleasant experience. There's just nothing bad to say about our Golden Corral. I hope they stay on the island for a long time. Thank you for making a night out affordable enough that my husband and I can have our weekly date night dinner here with change left over to enjoy other adventures in Galveston."

"Our first time here since its great reopening at the new location. This is undoubtedly our new way to the best grill we had in a long time. Even if our meals were a bit expensive (what is not today? All four of us felt like we got what we paid for the portions. The grill sauce is dying! I can't wait for our next visit."
