"Only two blocks north of Glendale In glendale's historic distreict. Settin is located in a historic home surrounded by antiques and heavenly roses. Once the disappointment begins. It's a small family business Mexican restaurant. The service is sporadic. The restaurant has no more than 30 seats and there were only two 4 seats. I waited no less than 10 minutes to get my drink order and another 5 minutes Iced Tea. The menu was very simple, but I ordered the Chile Rellenos, rice and beans with one side of chips and salsa. My friends ordered Tacos and Enchiladas. Three refills of tea later (we had to ask for refills and ask for a second time because the server has forgotten). We finally got our chips and salsa (the taste of salsa was flat and tasteless with small pieces of tomatoes in a thin red sauce. The chips were out of the bag The server was young, inconspicuous, aloof in its way. Didn't even complain to forget our refills. If it weren't for the fact that we were starving and it was too late to go somewhere else, we would have gone. After more than 50 minutes waiting, we were disappointed again. The portions were very small and saw and tasted as if they came from a "Patio" frozen Mexican dinner. The server forgot our sides of acid cream and guacamole, and although they were never released, it has donated us anyway. I felt uncomfortable when I sat down. The atmosphere was that of an old library, quiet and musty. The look at the antiques helped us to pass the time. Lunch was a great disappointment! Normally, I would give most restaurants a second chance, but in this case.... Why??"

"This is my family's favorite Mexican restaurant. It is the scale for all other Mexican places, and it has not measured anything yet. It is a small place in downtown Glendale where the salsa is fresh and the chips are fabulous. It's hard, not full of these free appetizers before your main dish comes! The other great thing in this place is that you get a lot of bang for your buck. We always order the "mini" menu and still have remains. The regular sizes are huge. I love her chimichanga and taco salad; there wasn't one thing I didn't like. The other big thing is mild, I don't like spicy food at all and I don't have any problems with anything that marks mild - although I'm sure that the hot stuff is hot!"

"To be impartial, I have done my best not to compare this new restaurant with its predecessor; but I will not pretend to be totally unbiased against Casa Del Taco. When I went to the restaurant for the first time, I was greeted by a friendly cashier who was patient when I ran the menu. Within a few minutes to buy my food, what you do first in this restaurant, one of the chefs was to bring out my meal. Overall, the staff in this restaurant is very friendly and attentive, because they do their best to ensure that you are satisfied with your meal and that you are happy. The food was delicious when a little pricy. The restaurant offers free chips to any table, and there is a salsa bar with some delicious salsa. Also, because the chips are thicker than usual, they are perfect to throw large amounts of guacamole. Although the cost of eating a bit much, considering that the portions are only average size, the quality of food is more than for this problem. With a truly authentic Mexican taste, Casa Del Taco offers exactly the kind of food I'm looking for in a sit down restaurant and you can't go wrong with her menudo. As for decoration, it is pleasant, though a little strange. This is mainly because one sees the remains of the former restaurant of the building, Pedro's, mixed with a new southwest decor. However, this is not a major problem. All in all, Casa Del Taco has a few smaller quirks, but it has an amazing staff and even better food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Mexican cuisine, and I hope that my opinion about this place will only improve as I continue to visit."

"Food is good and fresh. Servers do need Customer service update on what is proper to say to customers. The younger were more respectful then the older . Our waiter was joking to much and came about rude and lent her thoughts on how much I ordered and tried to make fun of the amount of food I was ordering on my Anniversary dinner but our server Martha who was older was very very respectful and prompt. I tipped her I wish I could gave her more because she was way better than the one who took my order. I took pictures of my food. I like to over order in my food to take food home the next day . I and my husband shared the food together ?. It was our 6 yr anniversary. Food is always better the next day. Thank you."

"It's decent, I would say it's a good spot to stop by if you're in the area. I wouldn't pick it over other spots and I sure wouldn't drive out of my way. The tacos al pastor and asada were normal as you could find anywhere else. The homemade salsa was bomb, both the red and green."
