"This is my favorite place to get a steak dinner bar none. My wife and I try to make it here at least once a year. We would go more but do not care for the downtown area on Kansas City. The Majestic is one of the true highlights of the city though. If you like jazz music then try to get your reservation for the old speakeasy downstairs and enjoy the show as well as a properly cooked dinner. Their drink selection is always great too. It would truly be a sad day if this place ever closed."

"Felt greeted directly from the bat. The decor was really funny and brilliant. Had no reservations, but they sat pretty easily. It was a Tuesday, so it wasn't super busy. The upper floor was really funny and the wine glasses were huge! The waitress was very knowledgeable. She understood the whole menu and made suggestions. The white Sangria was very tasty and fresh. The salad was served in a chilled bowl, was fresh and delicious. Steak soup was hot. The steaks were great. The farm to table idea grows in popularity and it is worth it. The KC stripe was dry at the age of 28 days and the fillet was fed grass. The standards of the medium at Anton are different from most of the world, but in a higher restaurant it makes sense. They let you know and keep you informed."

"I had the Flying Pig rib/chicken combo. Delicious ribs with much delicate meat. Beautiful crispy skin on the chicken also with beautiful delicate meat. Mild tasty beans, crispy pommes, quite decent Slav, which is not even mentioned on the menu along with bread. This is a serious amount of food for a person, expecting to take a Doggy bag. Also a ham dinner and a drawn chicken dinner, also very good. I would advise the order of sauce on the side, it is a little spicier and more sour than the usual way. Good, but a little overwhelming. Very friendly and quick service at the switch. Not sure why this place is no longer known; it should be."
