"This place was great for cocktails and charcuterie! Can be a little clogged and not a ton of seating, but had a great atmosphere and wonderful service. If it gets warmer, I want to come back and look at the beer garden... I heard amazing things and saw great pictures! Very recommended"

"Great Japanese grill. Asuka is the best Japanese I've had in Lexington.<br/ <br/ It features the standard setup of a hibachi/sushi place you can either set at a table and order off the menu or sit at the grill.<br/ <br/ My wife and I are never really interested in watching the food being cooked or sitting at a large table with strangers, so we always opt for the table. <br/ <br/ I loved that the menu had a large variety of grilled meat combinations you could choose from steak, chicken, scallops, and shrimp, which were cooked on the grill and brought to your table, with either garlic or teriyaki sauce. I had the teriyaki but in the future will probably get garlic the portions were large and the teriyaki is a bit sweet for a large dinner entree. <br/ <br/ They also serve soup and salad with everything, including the sushi rolls, unlike other places I've been where the come separate. <br/ <br/ I had the gyoza, chicken and shrimp, and a lychee martini all of which were great, especially the shrimp which were firm and flavorful, unlike some places where the shrimp doesn't taste like much of anything.<br/ <br/ Definitely a place I'll be back to, but I would consider ordering less than usual as the entrees are large."

"Huge love to this venue. We held our KHAKY (Kidney Health Alliance of Kentucky) Trees of Life Gala fundraiser here on the same night as a popular hip hop artist in the same building so add nasty rain to that traffic and that was the worst part about the night! We entered by the Speakeasy parking side and had no problem finding parking for our event.From the moment you walk in this place has so much charm and potential for whatever event is being held there! The bar display was beautiful ! A real class piece. We took some pictures as we entered the speakeasy entryway with nice lighting. The main room was so spacious and wide. We had room for a stage/band and about 45 tables of various sizes for seating, trees, wreathes, silent auction items and more! There was veggie and cracker tray out for a snack before the buffet opened. The restrooms were absolutely beautiful as well, clean and stocked through the event. The place is classically decorated to suit any occasion. I wouldlove to attend more events there!"
