"I had a chicken pot pie with green salad excellent and quite filling. Others had the french dip ? and a pastrami and swiss. They said theirs were good too. Service was very good too."

"Really liked the food here, on par with the other couple really good Mexican restaurants in Long beach. They have daily specials which are very fairly priced. Really enjoyed the torta which was big enough to make two meals out of. Nice neighborhood vibe as well. Will definitely be going back to Great Mex. Oh let me not forget the customer service was great."

"One of my all time favourite places! Have been going here since I was a child. I hear new management has taken over but it?s still as delightful as ever, and the prices are reasonable. Free parking is available in back, and while there?s no inside place to eat there are a few tables on a side patio. The pasties are served in two sizes, both filling. The small is plenty for me, but if you have a big appetite you can always opt for the large. You can choose between beef, chicken or vegetable. The beef and chicken pasties have a mixture of meat and veg inside. They are always ready, served hot (or buy frozen to take home) and are delicious. Remember to ask for ketchup as it makes a great accompaniment. Please go out of your way to make this a stop even if out of your way, as it?s well worth it!"

"I went to the Shakey's and I needed something to eat, I actually wanted to go next door and get breakfast at Coco's and they were tightly sealed. I went to the Shakey's they have the lunch buffet and my experience was perfect I had spaghetti salad with carrots and cottage cheese and greens and some baked chicken. Absolute First-Class Experience Many thanks I have enjoyed my food completely"
