"Located in K-Town, and formerly the site of Bourbon Street Café, Alchemist Coffee Project looks to compete with the likes of Intelligentsia, Blue Bottle and LA Mill by sourcing quality Beans from Onxy and serving them in a variety of temperatures as well as styles. Still with NOLA bones, though inhabitants couldn’t be more “Los Angeles” if they were aspiring actors working as waiters, it was after perusing Pastries and brewing apparatus that a Cold Brew was selected, $5.50 for friendly service pouring a great cup of “the Elixer” featuring light sweetness and lingering floral notes."

"A little disappointed to have tried out the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea. Personally, just not to my taste . The oolong in it was fragrant and noticeable as always (as I prefer) but the peach felt more like a scent than an actual taste, if that makes sense? I feel like if Id gotten it with the cheese foam like many have recommended, Id like it more but even so, I think Id still order either my usual or something else next time. For reference: Im usually a 0%/25% to 50% kind of boba customer w/ a few notable exceptions up to 74% for say, the Thai tea."

"It's passable I don't think I'd come here for food again though. The main draw is the hot stone gimmick, the food is pretty... average. The restaurant itself looks very divey, sticky floors and all. I ordered the cheese hamburg, which is a smaller portion than I was expecting for $17 (not pictured: chopped cabbage salad with mayo). I can't really talk about the food quality considering I cooked the hamburger myself (and the oil splatter is real don't wear a nice shirt if you order this) and the only sides provided were rice and salad."

"Sooo absolutely delicious!! Gluten free sourdough? The most delicious smoked salmon? Their own cashew cream cheese? Absolutely excellent food and kind staff. One small gripe is I don’t believe it has a restroom ? which if I’m right, sorry if I’m wrong feels rather inaccessible to meFood: 5/5"

"I've been looking for a replacement to the hyped-up ramen place a few doors down, and I've found it. Ordered the spicy garnet miso broth. Very good. A bit (but not too) peppery."

"Went to Sugarfish in DTLA right at the open and there was a line. The host and wait staff were very fast and got everyone situated quickly. They sat us at a table away from the bar.We went the middle tier omakase option. I think it was called The Sugarfish , something super simple for about 60 dollars or so for a total of 10 courses. Before eating they provided hand wipes to disinfect your hands. I wasn 't able to capture all the courses they served only a few. But every piece of sushi they served was incredibly fresh. They offered sushi, sashimi, and hand rolls from various kinds of fish and shellfish. The dining area is incredibly clean and filled with modern furniture. It 's much different than a traditional sit down Japanese izakaya/ omakase. It 's nice but different. The wait staff, hosts, and chefs would often ask if everything was going good and if we needed anything else. For an omakase experience this offers excellent value for the service and quality of fish they provide"

"Good place to have a coffee and some pastries. We ordered Napoleon cake, one Urth dolce, one Spanish latte and a bobba tea. Servings were HUGE, I couldn’t even finish my latte and the cake as well. Ordering was quick, everything was super tasty and the place was clean. Didn’t try any actual food but the coffee was on point. Spent $27 between the 3 drinks and the cake"
