"On the most recent visit, the guest I was dining with reported a severe food allergy to the server Robbie. He treated it very nonchalantly even after being asked what was safe to eat. Though Robbie stated he would confirm with the kitchen, the guest I was with was ultimately served a dish, that unknowingly to her, contained the item she is allergic too which resulted in swelling of the limbs, labored breathing, itching, and a rash. I would not recommend this place if you have a severe allergy as it may not be taken seriously. If you suffer from no food allergies then it's a nice, quaint spot in Midtown with varying weekend specials that are usually pretty tasty."

"I placed an order here and let me tell you the food and staff were amazing! I called in and the person on the phone was extremely nice and helpful on things I wanted and also gave me wonderful recommendations. They were really on point from when I called and when I needed by order by. Upon arrival, everyone greeted me and was really friendly. I had to wait a bit because it was busy but I just sat down at the bar and also had a drink. The person who served me was really nice."

"What has happened to cleanliness in restaurants!? I don't want to blame the EE if she didn't know or wasn't trained properly? However, she wouldn't want to eat food from a person who constantly wiped sweat, scratched her braids, pulled her phone out of back pocket, scratched her face and nose. I quietly informed her why needed a refund after I told her what I noticed. She was almost rudely nonchalant from the beginning as she left to inform the GM. He wanted to make the breakfast for me(as he scratched underneath his nose) I declined and insisted upon a refund. He rudely shoved the money into my hand. I informed him not to be mad at me but correct the EE on proper food handling. The GM thought it was funny?"

"A blues bar in the middle of the beale road; this retro caffe has everything from craft beer to authentic South delicacies! <br/>We started with southern fried green tomato crispy on the outside and soft and juicy inside; served with an acidic cream dimmer! the local golden spirit of memphis was a great accompaniment to the fried tomatoes..<br/>Though kings palast has a great rate of comfort escapees including the rubber bears- their garnels and crust fish étouffée is not to be missed. with brot and rice, the etouffée was a good balance of spice and warmth. the only possibility was that they have no good choice of desserts..<br/> overall it is a very retro, laid space that will not burn a large hole in the pocket."

"If you are in Memphis you HAVE to try this tour. Hands down the best experience we had in Memphis! Fabulous food tastings and fascinating local history. Now we want to go back to do the BBQ tour. Our guide was the best and I loved her wire whisk/ veggie scepter! Try this when you are in town. You won’t regret it!"
