"Love the unique selection of food and drinks, the upscale atmosphere and beautiful decor, but when I tried to bring some friends from out of town to see how great it was, they were shutting down... at 10 pm on a Friday night when they were supposed to be open until midnight. Was really disappointed in that since it was our evening plan and that was the earliest they could get to town, plus we had plans every other evening that weekend... they have yet to try it. It really bothers me when restaurants don't stick to their hours, which is why this rating isn't higher. I guess call ahead to be safe."

"This is our second stay at The Ginkgo Tree. Just a lovely old house, very homey, and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Wedgewood both times and the room was very comfortable with plenty of room for two. David and Layla are great hosts and super friendly. Even though it was a little cool outside, we did enjoy a nice glass of wine on the beautiful front porch. Very relaxing. We only stayed for breakfast three times, but it was excellent with a nice presentation each time. Having the ability to make a cup of coffee in the Lincoln Library whenever we wanted it was nice too. These former “townies” thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Layla and David!Rooms: Spacious and comfortable. Nicely furnished.Walkability: Close by to Island Park and numerous walking trails that we did every day. Many great restaurants downtown within walking distance—Vin Trofeo’s, Mountain Town Station, Max Emily’s among our favorites!"
