"My meal here was so delicious! Everything was sooo tasteful and packed with spices, and tasted very fresh, a welcome branch from the usual New Orleans tariff. Our server was very knowledgeable and pointed to any vegan option in the menu (and there was a lot). Although prices are somewhat steep, everything is divided so if you order correctly, it is not so bad. The hummus with grilled eggplant and fresh pita was delicious. The Shakshouka without fried egg was also amazing. Be careful! The baba ganoush has acid cream! So sad! The place is clean and cute and it is located on the magazine street that is really fun to go around! Definitely worth a visit!"

"Stopped in on the Saturday of essence festival and overall my group was satisfied. When we originally got there, it was very crowded and we were told that the wait would be 1 hour and 30 minutes. The hostess added us to the wait list, took our phone number, and told us she would call when the food was ready. "This was our third time visiting this restaurant. We made our reservation awhile ago. We enjoyed the food and service but the experience could have been better if we weren’t seated next to a supply area with staff constantly going near our table to grab supplies—the worse table in the patio. However the patio is beautiful. We had the lamb loin medium rare with goat cheese topping, potatoes and a couple of asparagus. The dish was very good. The cannoli dessert was okay."

"Great atmosphere- I like the intimacy of it and the old style feel of the building. Food was simple but out of sight and our server, Lizzie, was excellent. Perfect combination of being personable but not needy, and we never lacked for anything."
