"Jack Rose is truly an experience! Between the decor, the ambiance and the food... chef’s kiss. I went to New Orleans over a month ago so I don’t remember the name of our meals anymore. I do recall everyone enjoying the meals. I ordered the fish over potatoes. We all got the fun champagne shots! It’s also a great spot for Instagram pictures. You have seen that Lil Wayne portrait online before — now you know where to find it. Also, if you like calamari, you must order some! PSA: They don’t split checks Overall our experience 9/10"

"I had dinner tonight and our experience was excellent. the hostess was very nice and we had no time to sit down. our waiter tatiana was great. she took our order quickly and took care of the rest of the evening. the dinner was delicious. we had the gyoza, chicken roast rice and a lot of sushi rolls. my man tried a kyushiki (the Japanese version of an old fashion) . he really liked it."

"Cute little 2 story restaurant with super friendly and nice staff. There is probably always a line to get in though! We tried the fried alligator, the seafood platter, and the charbroiled oysters. I love raw oysters, and I'm not a big fan of cooked ones, BUT these charbroiled oysters were amazing!!! It comes with a piece of garlic bread, which was also very delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out."

"First time in New Orleans, looking for authentic Cajun food … Chris our waiter was attentive and food was out quick, however good was disappointing … gator bites are gator sausage and Cajun pasta dish had no flavor. Husband liked shrimp and grits. The menu online is different than what you get in person. For the experience and good quality the price was unreasonable. I would not go back but others may like it."

"Cafe Maspero is a must when coming to New Orleans. The price was right and the portions were huge. Six of us shared 3 fried sea food platters. We were stuffed and couldn?t finish them even sharing with others at the table. I?m not a fish/seafood fan normally but would order the gulf fish again in a heartbeat. AND the hush puppies were prepared perfectly. Our waitress took fantastic care of us. Wish I could remember her name to give her props. If we weren?t alreadyplanning to try different cuisine every night I?d eat there the rest of our trip."
