"A small quaint shop with willing workers and a homey vibes. I paid about 6$ for two cookies (sugar chocolate chip) but trust me it was worth it. The cookies are soft and flavorful in the perfect way. They also have ice cream as a purchase option."

"I've lived in New York for 4.5 years and have made it a point during this time to try as many chocolate chip cookies as I can from Levain, Culture, Pret A Manger, Insomnia, Bakeri, Thin Cookies....the list goes on. I had a very clear idea in mind of what qualities made a great cookie, and I was simply in search of it. But none of these places had it. I wanted thin, slightly darker than semi sweet chocolate, a little bit melty, a nice crust on the outside but without any real crunch, fully cooked but still chewy and crumbly, not too salty, not too nutty, not too buttery, and not too nauseating from richness. I wanted to eat the whole cookie and not feel like I needed to throw up. I wanted to feel like I was eating something more sophisticated than the Nestle Tollhouse recipe, but not something that was patently highfalutin. It's a chocolate chip cookie, after all, and ought to maintain some childlike innocence. It's a tough balance to strike. I stumbled upon The OG cookie just now while walking around Essex Market and by golly this is it! I've been waiting 4.5 years to find this cookie. The chocolate medallion that is melted in the center is such a lovely touch. It's the perfect size, too. Thank you for ending my search! And thank you for providing me with something so inspiring that I had to write a review. It's not just a chocolate chip cookie, after all it's artistry. The OG cookie is art."

"I was surprised that at 11AM on a Thursday morning, there was no line. An employee was giving samples of their cookie dough ice cream outside of the store. Once inside, we learned that it was National Cookie Dough Day (again, I was surprised by the lack of a line). Our party of 4 each tried something different, and we were all enthusiastically pleased with our treats. The place is adorable and the food is delicious. We even got free jars of cookie dough for national cookie dough day!"

"Omg my bestie-bae brought me some cookies from here one night. and they were ssssooo!!!! good: soft, chewing, flavorful. these cookies are definitely different from a lot of other cookie joints. we most definitely went back 2xs in that same month and then once again the following month. my suggestion is to get the box and get 1 of each cookie u like. they are galaxtic in the colors looks. and the taste they fill the cookies with in many different tasty treats. jus yumm!!!...... i definitely recommend steppin into rush hous cookies if u have 1 in ur area. i though insomnia cookies were something. but rush hour cookies have surpass in thr cookie and flavor department. we was back again again. and we will continue to grace this cookie place. great feel, decor in the shop, nice ppl working there and cant forget the great tasting soft goowie cookies. signed, i love to eat i do it out consistently!!! mr.von teese peeps Xoxox"

"Nice place to get cookies in the night. I tried the double chocolate cookie and it was great. Chewy, like it is supposed to be, and the chips were melty. Just right. I also tried the Brownie, which was good. If you love it really chocolatey, the cookie is the one to go for."

"This the cookies are mad good and tried the brownies for the first time and was blowned away. And this was my first time going a insomia cookie and would go again just to try some of there cookies that they got and the you can smell the fresh cookies they got as well as the brownies in there."
