"We ate dinner here on December 30th. It was one of the best meals we at while visiting NYC. My children (even the one that isn't gluten-free) were still talking about the yumminess of the meal the next day. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff member working was kind and patient and brought out an eclair with a candle for my daughter's 18th birthday. I highly recommend visiting if you are in NYC!"

"No notes. Went during a Saturday brunch rush and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. Had a couple of fantastic and unique cocktails, and loved Freemans take on both shrimp grits and chicken waffles. I’m always skeptical of ordering those dishes in “the north” but they really did the food justice."

"Great location and atmosphere! I stayed here for three nights, traveling solo, and first time in NYC. It was in a great spot for getting around town. The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt safe and comfortable. I stayed in solo room, and it was plenty of space for just me. I had a fantastic time, and I plan to stay here again the next time I'm in NYC."

"This was a cool place with good vibes, games and very genuine people. I originally thought it was a Jamaican restaraunt but I believe it’s more Antiguan. The dry rub chicken wings were actually delicious. The beef patties were a bit more like empanadas in my opinion, but still tasty. The only reason for my 1 star off was because I didn’t love the oxtail. It was a bit rubbery and overcooked and though it came out hot, my rice and peas was cold. I also never got the actual gravy I wanted on it but it wasn’t bad.I would go again and just get something else"

"I've been treating a few guests at high-time dinner. a girl called me to confirm my reservation. I told her, yes, we'll be there. my partner and I'm getting married and maybe I'll be there sooner, is that okay? we are booked. do you want to keep your reservation? no congratulations, no other explanation. we are booked. I should have taken my friends somewhere else. the server was not pleasant at all. only not the experience I was hoping for."
