"There is an entire vegan menu, this takes up a large swath of the food options and might honestly be considered the best a place can do without going full on vegan. I ate the Cali Burrito twice it was so good. Every side sauce I got was basically too hot for me to handle, but my tollerence is pretty low."

"Really good food and great service. My kids loved the rice ,beans and tacos. My husband and I loved the Chile verde and the Margaritas are delicious.Edited to add:The food is still delicious I had the same thing as always the Chile verde and my husband had the Mole enchiladas and my daughter had the quesadillas. Only bad thing was my plate is a $18 plate and I feel their plates lacks presentation and they don't offer you sour cream or anything to make it look presentable. In my opinion the cheaper taquerias make an effort to serve you something that looks better."

"The whole experience was excellent! We were seated immediately, our server was attentive and helpful, and our food was delicious! We were quite blown away as we had previously underrated this place. (Maybe it was due to the nasty and extremely inaccurate review by the Chronicle. We weren’t starving unfortunately, so we only had two things but I highly recommend both! The shrimp tacos served on jicama tortillas were outstanding and very inventive! (A good way to reduce the number of tortillas one eats. Especially loved the crunchy amaranth on top! And the chicken enchiladas with mole were excellent. Great depth of flavor and the pepitas were a nice crunchy touch. Plus the price for each dish was $20, which felt very reasonable to me. The mezcal drink was delicious and the deserts looked amazing! We’ll definitely come back hungrier next time and will be taking friends and family here for sure."
