"Amazing food and drink- but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who dresses dark or alternative. The stares and loud whispers from customers were extremely uncomfortable and disrespectful. Staff and servers were amazing and professional. Didn’t bring attention to it as it’s to be expected from wealthy couples."

"My partner and I dined here on Valentine’s. The service was friendly/attentive, complementary bubbly. I ordered the Steak Frites, cooked excellently, poutine fries were delicious!! $5 Bell’s 2 was a pleasant surprise, best I’ve seen in RVA (non-HH), lol. Would dine here again!"

"We walked in, and the guy at the cash register stared us down like we ruined his night. He doesn't say a word. We asked if we could order, and he just stares at us.Bathrooms are blocked off. We asked if we could use them but they said they are closed for the night. It is only 7:30pm.Food comes out and it is cold. The mozzarella sticks are room temperature and hard. The burger was okay. We asked for new mozzarella sticks. The 2nd batch had 2 melted ones and the rest were hard. Maybe an indication the cheese is bad?"

"Soft serve margarita was good and so were the nachos. Tacos and burritos were just okay. Server seemed annoyed the whole night and didn’t clean our table of empty glasses and appetizer plates."

"Incredible food! Love looking at the art as well. But the food? damn! I went again for Mother?s Day with my kids (so we went early before bar crowd came in) because I wanted everyone to eat without complaining and this fit the bill. You have to order your food at the bar now, but staff was quick and efficient with it. Everyone was happy!"

"I went to Perly's for lunch with a friend and, overall, I thought the menu was very unique and varied, and the food was delicious. This is certainly a happening spot, with all the seats full on a random Wednesday morning that I went in. A very bustling vibe with small alcoves for people, but also a bar with sports on. The reuben came greasy with a huge portion of corn beef, which is the whole point! Very impressed. We also got the Jewish eggrolls, which were a good value at $8 because the portion was very large. I guess they just do big portions for everything here. Service was fast, and otherwise, it’s a normal diner...just with great deli food."

"3 stars for the bartender/server that was kind. The food is overpriced and not good. Dive bar comes to mind when I think of this place. There were locals there at lunch time that obviously just hang out there daily."
