"We decided to try this place and I ordered the special (red snapper) and when it came out it was only a piece of fish on a plate. I have no qualms about spending money on a good meal but for a $40 meal it should have had some rice or vegetables on the side or something. All in all it was $160 for a piece of fish, one roll, and two drinks each and then we had to go somewhere else afterwards because we were both still hungry."

"Far beyond my expectations! eating deserves more than five stars. their nudes are not original Chinese style, but their broth is legendary. the crepes are delicious, especially the pork bell. the only thing I have is that they don't have any air conditioning today. it is 30 degrees outside, and in the load it is even hotter than the outside. I'll take care of the health of their poor server."

"A beautiful spot in a museum, a solid service staff, and quality food (and coffee) makes for an enjoyable and satisfying experience. Oddly enough, I found it difficult to locate breakfast establishments in the Neighborhood of the Arts, but on Sundays, this is Brown Hound is definitely the place to go. I had an absolutely wonderful and serene meal, and from looking at the other diners, they were all happy as well."

"Our friends said my husband and I had to try this spot when we came to visit them since it's their favorite restaurant and they were right.The four of us shared: Focaccia (special) Spicy Lettuces Baked Polenta Lost Meatball Ragu Enzo PizzaI can't even pick a favorite dish because it was all so good. This is the kind of place where you can order anything because you can't go wrong. I would love to try the whole menu.I definitely want to come back again next time we visit our friends!"

"We were in Tap and Mallet several times. Some times we brought our children with us, and I must say that it is extremely comfortable and the children are treated as welcome guests. This time we were without our children and really had the time to ask questions and interact with the staff. We sat at the bar. The bar staff was familiar with the beer and the dishes and helpful. Great job! We will definitely come back. Cheers!"
