"Why do we have to put a star in order to post. I wish I read the reviews first before I ordered from this place. Instead, this place was recommended by mom since I am from out of town. I called in to order a cake and cupcakes for my daughters baby shower. I ordered a vanilla/strawberry cake, one dozen vanilla/raspberry filling cupcakes and one dozen chocolate/mocha filling cupcakes. When I came to pick up the items, they told me it would be another 10-15 mins. No big deal. The big deal was that they knew this cake was for a baby shower so the design was mediocre at best. The cupcakes looked like I could have made them myself. Some of the cupcakes had decorative pearls on them (about four out of 24). By the time I got home, the first layer of the cake started to slide off the bottom layer. The cake was secure during transportation from the bakery to the destination. When I say the cake 's design was mediocre at best, it was designed as if the lady who frosted it either 1) really hated her job and did not care about her presentation or 2) she didn 't know what she 's doing. To top it off, she had the nerve to tell me I googled the name and that 's not how you spell it . If she had any professionalism, which I highly doubt, she could have said I just wanted to confirm the spelling of the name but she came at me as if I didn 't know how to spell my grand child 's name. When I got home, my family had to fix the cake and add the designs. Luckily they had cake decorating things to make it presentable. When we cut into the cake, it was pretty much just that, just cake with a joke of a thin red line of filling. And the cupcakes had NO FILLINGS in neither the vanilla or chocolate which I paid extra for. This bakery displays on their website only their best cakes . Putting decorations on a cake goes without saying. I should 've ordered my cake from La Plaza bakery because, not only are their cakes great, but their presentations are not a let down. You know what you are paying for. Do not order here unless want less than stellar desserts."

"I cannot believe how rude these girls are. They take a long time. They keep the mobile orders where you can?t reach them. So you have to ask for your drink yet they ignore you and keep making drinks. They never welcome anyone. They?re not organized. They are located in a nice area in Salinas where you would think their service would be great. Not in this case. I never go to this Starbucks I go to Main and Bernal where they?re super nice and well organized."

"Excellent French macarons. Cheesecake desserts are delicious. With a family member with Celiac, I appreciate the gluten-free options. The staff members have always treated me kindly. I wish the parking situation was easier, but it is a busy, impacted area, and if I'm going to stuff my face with cookies and candy, a little walk is probably a good idea anyway."

"Love the vanilla the plain tart is my absolute favorite. Delicious ???? Best froyo in Salinas! If I lived closer I'd probably be there daily, it's a great place to take the kids. Can't express how much my family loves YL, and everything there is yummy!"

"Took a quick driving break and stopped to order an Oreo Cookie Shake and Vanilla Shake. Diana was very professional and efficient in taking our order and returning them quickly. There was lots of parking available. Disappointing that the restrooms were closed but they did have hand sanitizer stations."
