"This restaurant was a wonderful highlight on our time in Southern California, where we went to many excellent venues but this was at the top. While the food was excellent and we loved the great safely distanced outdoor dining experience, the highlight was our server Devon. He had such an easy and thoughtful engagement style, not interpreting our conversation or flow but making it a lovely evening. He went out of his way to help us celebrate our son's birthday with an amazing dessert, and chased us down just after we left as I had left my phone on the table. He really brought a caring and very wonderful approach that transformed our meal. Thank you Devon"

"Not really sure how to call this place. It is a café that roasts its own coffee. You have a simple coffee menu and few pastries options that are brought by an external vendor. I noticed several cups, but was surprised when they served my coffee in a typical paper cup. Maybe the cups are decorative. Coffee is served scaling. But this location also doubles as a bar, as it offers a few beers on tap and a lunch selection. The interior is beautiful and relaxing with elevator playing music in the r background. Many seats with lots of natural light. I also noticed an area with tables for outdoor seats. Corner location makes it easy to find. Friendly staff."

"Atmosphere, staff and food are all excellent when I visit this place. The whole concept of the Schnauze is just such an obvious winner for me, I am surprised that there is no more. You can expect that weekend morning to be busy so make sure you book in advance unless you are ready to stand for a place on the bar."
