"My first visit to Commune. Very warm greeting. Communal seating, any open seat is available. We sat along the window. Exceptional service. Each server was knowledgeable of menu and answered all our questions. The peach/ham melt was my favorite. It comes in a club sandwich style format. Awesome sandwich. Loved every bite. Had a vegetable bowl with an egg on top and chicken salad with veggies. Large portions. Both were excellent. Located in the Virginia Beach's Vibe district. Great dining venue."

"Great patio seating area with an ocean view to enjoy drinks while you wait for a table. Service was fantastic, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend! I especially enjoyed the prickly pear margarita and buffalo cauliflower bites yum!! We came here in part because of the wide selection/options for our vegetarian friends and it was a hit!"

"Great atmosphere. Great food. Ordered their burger and it was so fresh. I could tell it was never frozen. My boyfriend had the lamb burger and he loved it. A large beer selection. Free entertainment every Saturday night! Staff was very friendly. An overall great place!"

"Juneteenth weekend, I surprised my mother with a staycation at the Marriott after seeing Tulu go viral on TikTok! The aesthetics, the vibe, the decor…all 10 times better in person! Our reservation was at 12pm but we didn’t get seated until about an hour later. There was a long line of guest trying to get in and because you all are now viral on social media, I think you all have to prepare for this asap! Going to have to hire more staff and establish table time limits because y’all are going to be very busy this summer! Food took quite awhile to come out but when it did arrive, it was fresh, hot and tasty. Our server Tillman was the absolute best, such a positive attitude and so kind! We will be back for sure."

"Seafood trio was delicious and I went back the next day for more of the green beans! everyone is very friendly and the bar is well equipped. they carry my favorite tequila and there is a key lime margarita that is soou good! they come hungry because the drinking are plentiful!"

"We do not drink alcohol so can not review anything from the bar. However, we do eat seafood and Mahi Mah 's is one of our favorite places on the Boardwalk. A bit noisy for us, the food and service make up for it. Parking is tight so prefer to walk if we are close enough and weather permits or we use the valet service. It was very busy, so glad we made reservations through open table. We were seated out near the bar and that was ok, but the cold air was blowing in from the Boardwalk door and shocked us a few times. Not much you can do about that, but we 'll know better next winter, to not accept a seat out there! They allow substitutions on the menu, i.e. coconut rice for sweet potato... I just love that coconut rice and it goes well with all seafood! Looking forward to our next visit."
