"One of my favorite light-lunchboxes in dc. they have in the ground themselves rice, nudel and or salat bowl with a southeast Asian flair. A.k.a dressings are more fish sauce and acid-based, which is delicious and refreshing, but still tasteful. when I first visited, I think it was one of the owners who worked the front so that there was a little more love in the salat than my new visit, but the employee helped me this time was still very friendly. the chicken salad is always a winner and they can choose how sharp they want it. they also have a series of vegan dressings and various protein options or even a kicherbsen curry when they look different. the star of my visit was this time the buttersemolina cake. this cache was so soft and creamy with a warm fat syrup, and the nuts and light texture of the smolina really works in this cake. an extremely decadent way to finish and otherwise light meal"

"Wonderful for family outing , a date and friends brunch. Everything was outstanding. The cleanliness was good. The customer service and server was really nice. My kids loved everything and they are usually picky eaters. This was my first time eating shrimps and grits all I can say it was amazing. Overall,we were a satisfied family and will be back again."

"We were there during Happy Hour and the noise from the bar spilled over the entire room. We both ordered the steak salad which was generous and excellent. Ellen's piece of carrot cake could have fed the whole family we split the rest of it the next night after dinner"

"This is my favorite cupcake store in DC! Anytime I'm craving a sweet treat, this is the first place I think of (along with it's sister bakery, a Baked Joint). I have received sympathy cupcakes from friends, breakfast cupcakes at work, and evening pick me up cupcakes on my own. These cupcakes are a staple for anybody they even have vegan cookies and cream (very tasty) and gluten free vanilla chocolate chip cupcake options.My favorite original flavor is Strawberry (vanilla cake, pink buttercream, and strawberry filling), but during the summer season, they bring back the Smrufette cupcake (lemon cake, lemon icing, blueberry filling) that I still dream about!"
