"Sol is what chipotle aspires to be! Lol. No, seriously.. it is great and cheap Mexican food. I have been there a few times by now and have tried different dishes such a tacos, burritos and bowls. This time around I have chicken nachos and my bf ordered chicken quesadilla. They were both on point but I will say their guacamole is overpriced. They also had District Daiquiri —spiked slushees. They were good but super weak. Overall the experience was 8/10"

"Just finished their 3 course brunch.. Cheap and finger licking good. The owner was really nice and gave us special gluten free dessert because they ran out of an option we wanted. Add this to your list of nice Latin American cuisine in DC"

"I used to eat here 2-3x a week, however i will no longer after contracting E. Coli from them last week (around November 9th-10th 2022). They do not practice proper food safety and preparation. They use the same gloves for everything, I should’ve known it would have caught up to me eventually. It’s a shame because their food is delicious, but trust me you don’t want diarrhea for 10 days straight."

"A lot of the food options here do have to be modified to be made vegan (usually no cheese). You can ask for the beyond burger to made vegan style and they'll know exactly what to ask the kitchen for, which is nice. The veggie hot dog was just ok. Burger was definitely better. Really happy to see options at a spot like this. It's a beautiful location and the beers are great!"
