"We were trying to go to a Caps game. One waiter was available for the entire restaurant it seemed. He explained the soup special could not be ordered because it was not done yet. We arrived at 5:45. We finally left around 7:25 and missed a good portion of the first period. Considering we had two nice bottles of wine and the bill was north of $700, it was the first time in many at Proof that the experience was a huge disappointment."

"I am not the first white guy who looks like an Injera balloon and sweat through a court that sees the majority of the world mild, and I will not be the last. I am not an Ethiopian food expert, but I had it a few times and that was probably the best. the vegetarian sampler for two was really good. of the seven articles that I included, I was only not for one of them, and that was mainly because it was too spicy for me (which means good for most others.) we would probably have been with the “for one” version of the sampler if the app and lamb we added. both were good, but nothing special. the injera we got was great."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"Pizza is amazing! Try a new menu, streets Tacos, they were quite delicious. The spicy margarita was not spicy enough for me, but a good drink."

"Horrible, worst service in years. Server was so aloof that we thought she was on drugs. In fact she was so out of touch that we had to ask if she was ok? Food was as bland that I’ve ever encountered at an Italian restaurant. I think they forgot to use any seasoning. Had to cancel mushroom appetizer because it was inedible."
