"My husband and I tried this place after having a coupon that was printed on the back of our Safeway receipt. Buy one meal and fountain drinks and get one meal free. We both had the Opa platter. I had the shrimp and my...husband had the chicken. I really enjoyed the shrimp. There were on the skewer that were seasoned quite heavily with tangy spices. The rice was quite bland the potato was horrid (I have no idea what kind of spice was on this, but it was inedible). The pita bread was amazing, could have had a few more pieces. Next time, will order another dish other than this Opa Platter. My husband didn't like his potato or the rice, he will definitely order something else as well. The service was fast and the place was clean. We will be back to try something else there."

"It was an over priced Quiznos. Got the tuna melt which tasted like a cold subway tuna. Husband tried the Original roast beef, like the horseradish but overall basic. Ordered the cheddar broccoli soup, straight up from a can. Also the Mac and cheese is some basic frozen stuff. Update: returned on Tuesday for the buy one get one free, and got the tuna melt and the roast beef classic. There was no Tuna and definitely not melted. There wasn?t cheese? I really didn?t enjoy it. The roast beef wasn?t flavorful even with the horseradish. The sandwiches were a last attempt at Earls. Love the over stuffed Las Vegas location. Three employees working and no customers, probably bc the lack of fillings."

"Tuesday I got the chance to hang out with some of my blogging buddies and try a new restaurant. This time we had been invited up to Opa! Souvlaki in Kenaston Common. This is the second Opa! Souvlaki in Winnipeg. The first which is about 5-6 years old is in Polo Park, while this location is approaching it’s first birthday. I’ve never visited either location, although my friend and ministry colleague Greg Glatz is a big fan of the Polo Park site."
