"The best Italian food I've had in any restaurant! The last time I had anything even remotely close was 45 years ago. I was always included in the Del Monte family's multi course Sunday lunch. Mr Del Monte, a WW2 pow who settled in South Africa, did all the cooking."

"That was extraordinary. I'm in shock by how amazing everything tasted. I had the gluten-free pasta, and it was the best I ever had. The Auberginen-Lasagna was from this world. The cheesecake was amazing and I don't like cheesecake! 10/10. This place should be #1 on travel advisors!"

"We had our year end function there....Kaapse stories from the Mother City. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the show and the food! Pearl was our liaison at the hotel and she did a splendid job of answering our many email questions and always checking if we needed anything else for the function on the day.
