"Nice quaint restaurant by the dam. Lovely outdoor patio under canopy of trees. Limited selection on menu for lacto-vegetarians but waiter made a plan and we enjoyed lovely fresh food (aside from the chips- which must've been from the day before). Good starters and decent veg platter. Nice drive from JHB and escape from hustle and bustle of the city."

"Great food and atmosphere. We had lamp espedado and chicken livers which were both great . Service was a bit slow but guess good food takes time. Also most dishes came in clay dishes"

"Absolutely amazing eating and making a reasonable journey. had the screw starter in creamy garlic sauce, oh my word, it's really difficult to find a place that can make snails right. also tested the rump steak and it was very delicate and succulent. they were there for the chicken prego and chips, also amazing. eating is fresh and tasty."

"We had a bucket and fully loaded box meal. the chicken was fresh and tasted very nice. the bottom was the fully loaded box meal was not packed in boxes. the whole application was placed in a paper bag. packaging not as beautiful as it should be."
