"This restaurant is now Die Sauerei Food: The food was a remarkable bright spot. Surprisingly handmade, fresh and consisting of first-class ingredients. It's the best Bavarian dish I ate outside of Bavaria. Drink: This place should be a beer that forms a high arrow gastropub. It meets the brand that is not surprising as it is owned by the same people as beer Johann and beer camp. Service: The service was remarkable. The staff was informed about the beer and the entire menu that made excellent recommendations. Environment: The place is very illuminated, with comfortable seating, candles on every table and has actual music that creates a bit of vibe, a welcome change from the always right and typical boring standards where you can hear a pin drop."

"Wir waren am 13. Mai 2017 mit 10 Personen an der direkt nebenan befindlichen Messe Basel zu Gast bei der MUBA bzw. bei der Weinmesse.Anschliessend wollten wir Essen und entschieden uns für dieses Restaurant. Gegen zirka 19 Uhr trafen wir ein und wunderten uns, dass bloss 3 Tische besetzt waren. Wohlverstanden es war Messe... Wir erhielten ein langen Tisch und konnten alle zusammen sitzen. Die freundliche Bedienung nahm unsere Bestellungen auf, danach kamen die Getränke und die bestellten Vorspeisen. Saisonsalate sucht man leider vergebens. Danach passierte lange Zeit nichts mehr, die Bedienung teilte uns mit, dass die Küche nicht voll besetzt sei und es deshalb noch eine Weile dauern würde - wie erwähnt, es war Messe und das Restaurant war mittlerweile bloss mit 4 Tischen belegt... die Bedienung tat mir leid, wir hätten diese Info jedoch gerne früher erfahren...Dann endlich nach zirka 1 Stunde wurden die ersten Gerichte tropfenweise serviert, natürlich konnte so nicht an gemeinsames Essen gedacht werden - bei 10 Gästen auch eine echte Herausforderung...Auf die Qualität des Essens möchte ich nicht weiter eingehen, ich persönlich hatte mir ein Beefsteak Tartare bestellt, das war so weit OK - dabei kann eigentlich auch nichts falsch gemacht werden. Was jedoch z.B. unter dem Begriff "Zürcher Geschnetzeltes mit Rösti" verstanden bzw. serviert wird, ist unterste Schublade...!Ich bin mir bewusst dass die gesamte Häuserzeile abgerissen wird, trotzdem erwarte ich als zahlender Gast ein funktionierendes Restaurant.Schade was aus dir geworden ist altes Warteck, ich kenne dich seit die Familie Lachapelle am Wirten war - immerhin rund 45 Jahre - deine Adresse habe ich nun aber endgültig gestrichen..."

The Mulhe has an excellent Menu from vegetarians to gourmet not...vegetarian options Never have been disappointed this restaurant deserve a place on my top 10 in the area of Basel in Switzerland. For Budget concerned travelers , the prices are medium to expensive but the Mulhe is the perfect place around for your Trip treat plan You can enjoy regional specialties served with kindness, knowledge friendliness. drinks are not left aside don 't hesitate to ask advise to choose the right wine with your meal Also I ll recommend the Mulhe for events, business incentives meetings. Your stockholders customers wont be disappointed by the quality of services, the atmosphere for bigger event you can enjoy the big Mühlestall Eventhall with game from all around the world Special Menu Events are regularly organised I still remember my 24th birthday with whisky tasting haggis ; Access : Easy Hop on Allschwil is 10 away by car or 20 min with public transport from Basel City Center. Parking on site around."

"We decided to have dinner there last month, without booking in advance. It was a nicely warm evening (though with the risk of rain showers , and we very much wanted to sit on the terrace. The only table the waiter could offer us, however, was not covered by the awning, and less than 10 minutes into our stay, the first drops started to fall. However, the waiter swiftly informed us of another (covered table that had just been vacated, and proceeded to relocate us there, so we were safe from the rain for the rest of the evening. Very good and attentive service, and I loved the food. As it seems a popular place (and I can obviously see why! , I would probably recommend to book in advance, especially when wanting to sit on the terrace, to avoid disappointment, as not everyone may be as lucky as us with the timing."
