"Planchette is one of my favorite restaurants. It's loud and bustling on busy weekends with a relaxed casual atmosphere. And if you're lucky, you'll be there for their accordion player. Maybe not the best place for a quiet date night, but perfect for a fun evening with friends. And the food is fantastic. Straightforward and simple renditions of French comfort classics. Escargot, Croque Monsieur, Mussels, Steak Frites, Coq au Vin. All delicious and simply executed. I absolutely love their crepes, our favorite is the braised short rib. But on my last visit I tried the smoked trout and it was wonderful. And you also can't go wrong with their dessert crepes (banana Nutella is the best)."

"Food was so good! So many great options couldn’t choose between 2 so I got both. The Lump of Crab Fried rice was so flavorful and the Barbacoa Benedict was perfect. They did not skimp on the avocado. The potatoes were cooked a little too hard for my liking but I will definitely be back."

"They have gluten free pizza! They have real fries without any coatings or additives. They have NY style pizza. This is a mom and pop restaurant and they are flexible with a variety of options and accommodate food allergies: The owner was super friendly and you get a great amount of food for the price! It was served fresh and hot! If you are looking to support local then I’d definitely try the food. They also have a small parking lot and several tables inside to eat so you can grab a bite in the shop. The kitchen was visible and the restaurant was clean. "I loved my meal here, poached eggs with crab cakes. We had excellent and friendly service and the pastries are delicious too. I’ll be going back to try other items on the menu. As a heads up, during Covid, the place keeps breakfast and lunch hours from about 7:30a to 3:00p or 3:30p."
