"This restaurant has good atmosphere, good service, and fabulous food. I had read that the coq au vin jaune with morels was good, and it did not disappoint! It was a huge portion, so we probably didn't need to order a 2nd dish. However, as odd as it sounds, the salmon cooked in a curry sauce was exquisite. We did not leave hungry!Just bear in mind that French chickens are not stuffed full of water and forced to stand still in tiny cages, so it doesn't taste like the tender, plumped up, slightly bland meat we're used in the US. They turned several people away who did not have reservations, so be sure to call and make one before showing up on a weekend night."

"The various dishes were delicious. The standard is high, with a hint of the early 90es. Service was smiling and forthcoming, But we were a little disappointed with the selection of wines (However, I’m a wine snob and others may find the wine to be fine). The chairs felt a bit tired in the upholstery and I, for one, could feel the frame of my chair digging into my buttocks."

"Firstly, I don't know if this restaurant has moved since trip advisor listed it but the correct address is 62 Place Faramand not 2 rue Faramand. There is a difference. I know as we went to this restaurant twice because we liked it so much....They offer a la carte items and a daily set menu. The first night we ordered one menu and a la carte items. Because the food was so exceptional, we ate there again on our second night in Arbois and again one of us picked the menu and the other ordered a la carte. Everything from amuse bouche to digestiv was wonderful. Lots of interesting flavors and layers of little touches that make a meal very special. Excellent BOTH TIMES!!!"
