"I very rarely write reviews and never negative ones at that, but I guess this has been a long time coming. My family and I have been going to The Pub regularly as it’s got some of the best pizza in town and has a super fun atmosphere. Every time, however, the service has been really rough to the point of ruining even the great food. Usually the wait staff are just busy, which is totally understandable, but lately we’ve been completely ignored and/or haven’t gotten food out to everyone at the table even after an hour and a half of dining. The oven’s only so big so different serving times are to be expected, but this most recent time both my friend and I got her pizza and food and finished before my wife’s food was even put in the oven. There were only a couple of tables other than us at this point so it was hard to give the benefit of the doubt due to a big service backlog. The prepped food was even sitting out a good 5 minutes while the chefs talked before our waitress had to remind them to put it in the oven and finish it. To top it all of we saw another chef put his hand in the waiting prepped food and scoop off a noodle and some cheese to eat… yuck. Totally disheartened as we’re very willing to forgive slow service and iffy wait times because hey, people are people, but this was way too much. I don’t know if we’re going to be able to tough it out and come back at this point. :"

"OK, but not as great as the reviews suggest. I got an omelette, home fries, and a buttermilk pancake. I had to pay extra for the pancake. You couldn't add it as a side. The waiter was good, but when I asked him which was better here, pancakes or french toast he didn't have an opinion. The omelette was OK, but only so. The home fries where very basic and bland. They weren't crunchy at all. Cooked but kind of mushy. The pancake was good but overcooked a little. The hot chocolate was watery. Nice atmosphere. Next time I'll go somewhere else that has better food."
