"Found out the ladies name is Kaila because was wearing a Kaila Jacket he he. The Dahi Poori is sooo yum. Six pieces for around Mouth tantilising taste these Poori are with no onion or garlic. Little things that you are meant to put in one go in your mouth, open really wide now. Not much more for people that don't eat onion or garlic unless you order in advance or happy to have a potatoe curry. Can eat the cutlets with the sweet sauce too."

"My family came here to eat in 2014 for a visit and the food was so memorable we came back again in 2022. The meals were so delicious, we were seated and served quickly, and had a very authentic vibe. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough"

"Overall rating: 4.5 Saffron is a hidden gem in Manukau. Unassuming at the outside, but inside, you'll be delighted at their food and friendly service. Their poppadums are the best I've tasted just the right crispiness and fresh. Their cheese Naan is fresh too, and love how the cheese stretches when you eat it. Their butter chicken is up there too with the best, as well as their mango Lassi. The rice which came with the curry was nice, light, and fluffy. Although they got one drink order wrong and the second drink came a bit too late (we were nearly finished eating) and the lamb kebab was spicier than expected, their customer service is better than some places in Auckland CBD. The complimentary dessert at the end of the meal was a pleasant surprise. Note that we weren't asked if we want our curry mild (which is usually our experience when ordering Indian food). Saffron is highly recommended and well worth spending your hard earned money in. Will come back again to try their dosa and other curries."

"Never been here but we ordered food online from here . Had ordered veg manchurian, paneer karahi and Naan. Veg manchurian was super amazing , we just loved it. Naan was very soft and loved it too. Paneer karahi was not bad , it was sweeter for our taste . But overall the food was amazing."

"If you love spicy food and feeling a little adverturous...then this is the place. <br/ <br/ To be honest... I'm not a fan of spicy dishes but this restaurant make really good food that I just have to try it!<br/ <br/ I glad I did. <br/ <br/ The dosa is a must buy and also the mutton dish. <br/ <br/ The staff and service is friendly.
