"I always wanted to go to the winter mountain. we did it. it's great up there. outside the country they can chew nicely. they can sit outside in a beer garden atmosphere or thrive nicely inside. the menu is small but fine with regional ingredients. in every dish is something special. also the selection of cakes and torts is noticeable. I can only recommend."

"After our autumn holiday abroad in 2021, the entry restrictions, quarantine were cancelled, etc., we were pleased to get to know our beautiful Germany a little closer. We were looking for a corner from where we were not yet, and to let us go well, we have booked an extended pamper you plus weekend 4 days. The imposing Häckers Grand Hotel, which is located directly in the Kurviertel an der Lahn, makes a great deal from the outside. Very friendly reception, inside almost completely in original condition from the 18th received century. Some of the Bad Emser sources are in the hotel's fountain hall, no wonder that for centuries many famous personalities such as 1778 Kaiser Wilhelm, Zar Alexander... here went to the spa and at the exquisite Grand Hotel. Also the furniture in the hotel is of the finest, for my taste almost too much very comfortable velvet chair and sofas, suitable for the soft carpet, huge flower decorations of course all fresh flowers, large crystal chandelier... no wonder that Häckers has 4 star superior. Also our rooms have not disappointed us, generously cut with marble bathroom, sofa corner with desk, as well as fruit basket, champagne and mineral water in the room. The Häckers also has a large thermal bath, a large sauna area, steam grottos, whirlpools............... The tables in the Benedetti restaurant, where we took our meals, were tastefully covered with tablecloths made of fabric and colour matching fabric napkins, crystal glasses and candles, fresh flowers and a personalized menu for each guest. 1 day Food : VP: table seasoning with herbal cream fraiche with roasted walnuts perfect soup : pumpkin cream soup with steiric pumpkin oil usually I am not a friend of pumpkin soup mostly very pampigious, but here I had to my opinion how I tried with my treasure and was thrilled to order myself instead. HP: Grilled dorad fillet with seafood sauce and Red Berry Gnocchi ingenious combination that not only looked famos but also so tasted. fried veal steak with fresh paws in cream sauce, colorful scrub noodles and romanesco juicy veal, vegetables to good dessert: passion fruit with blackberry comes the best to finish here meets the nail on the head, even if you can hardly believe that this was possible after great food before there was so much cheese cuts, plums and eating plums. Even on the breakfast buffet, as expected, there was hardly anything you missed, and a large cupboard with different teas, large coffee selection............ there is no wish anymore. Absolutely recommended!"

"After our hike from the Concordia Tower along the Lahnhöhenwanderweg we returned via the Bad Ems to the Bismarcks restaurant directly on the same tower. This was built in honor of the 1st German Chancellor Prince Otto von Bismarck and inaugurated in the spring of 1901. The Kurwaldbahn, which connects the city with the large spa areas, clinics and rehabilitation facilities above Bad Ems, also ends/starts. The Bismarcks is a beautiful excursion to the mountains, high above the state bath Bad Ems, has a large sun terrace, from where you have a fantastic view of Bad Ems, the Lahntal and the surrounding mountains. On this sunny but windy autumn day we liked to sit on one of the few still free tables on the terrace and enjoyed the great view that offered us. Beautiful wooden furniture with comfortable seat cushions outside the terrace and a modern interior with alpine character was very popular. There is a wide selection of breakfasts, civic cuisine at noon and evening, in addition a changing daily menu, coffee/tea and cake as well as ice cups and a vasper card for everyone. Since we had already enjoyed a lush breakfast and had expected a 4 standard menu in the evening, we only ordered apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, which was decorated on a dark grey slate plate with fresh berries, both delicious with milk coffee. Unfortunately, we had to wait very long for our apple strudel, otherwise the service personnel looked overwhelmed after us. Too bad about the otherwise pretty destination. We then approached home with the funicular and floated exhausted from the hike, but enthusiastic about the apple strudel eat the valley."

"Benedetti Restaurant is located in Häckers Grand Hotel in the heart of Bad Ems. According to Count Vincent Benedetti, the French diplomat known as one of the central figures in the foundation of the Franconian-Prussian War of 1870. Furniture and decoration give the restaurant a pleasant character. Like the Grand Hotel, the restaurant has a patina with pre-WW1 charm. Service is sufficient and friendly. The menu is traditionally European. Food is delicious and well presented. We arrived on Saturday and the facility was full of guests who enjoy the rich buffet. We went for the classic asparagus and a good German wine. We were not disappointed. We recommend Benedetti Restaurant to anyone looking for nice food accompanied by a good glass of wine in a pleasant ambience."
