"It’s in a neat location that’s new and quiet. The burgers and onion rings were really good. My only thing was everything is expensive and the extra charge for items was way too much, a burger was 9 bucks an extra 6 for a combo plus the other extras (cheese two bucks, bacon js another 3 bucks and any sauces were 2 extra bucks) it’s also cold inside. We spent 30 bucks on 2 burgers with cheese, onion rings and a drink…WHOA."

"Wife was doing a paint and sip. I was going to watch and have a beer. This was the only place to eat in the complex so we had to give it a try. If you look at the pic, there are no prices! Was very odd. Asked the person if everything was free...didn't laugh. Food was good. Liked the crust. Did its job."

"I attended an event where Jake's Pickup Grab'nGo catered. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I was glad to learn about this company because they definitely are a great option to consider if planning a casual event that's COVID friendly. Jake's Pickup had different slider sandwiches and sides where each serving was in a small container, as well as bite size cookies for dessert. Everything was grab and go as their name suggests, which was especially nice since people could just pick up what they wanted and is mindful of the pandemic, since no one had to use the same utensils to pick up their food, which is the case for most catered food. I had a turkey and roast beef slider with caprese salad and a mac salad. All of these items were tasty, but my favorite was the roast beef slider. It had arugula with a horseradish dressing and the roast beef was perfectly sliced and flavorful. The buns for the sliders were also soft, but held the goods together. I would definitely consider Jake's if planning to have a catered event where people can easily pick up their own food, as everything can be individually wrapped and easy for takeout. Glad to have discovered Jake's, and the next time I'm on Bainbridge Island, I'll have to find their restaurant and discover more of what they offer."

"We stopped last Sunday after a day of painting. We ordered the Gourmet Veggie (Vegan) and the Westside (Non Vegan) pizzas. The crust was absolutely amazing! One of the best crusts I've ever eaten. It was light and airy, soft with a perfect buttery taste. The pizza was hot, a good amount of toppings and the amount of cheese was fantastic. I enjoyed the sauce, but I personally prefer more sauce on my pizza. Customer service was good. We will definitely enjoy this facility again!!"

"I’ve eaten a lot of pho, and let me tell ya, this was great !! Probably the best veggie broth I’ve ever had, and raw beef was very tender. Nice indoor dining as well as outside patio (front and back). Nice staff too. Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I went to Proper Fish for two reasons, first I love fish and chips, and second the reviews lately have been mixed and I wanted to get the straight scoop first hand. The one thing we don’t know is do they have good days and bad days, but I can tell you I caught them on an amazing day. The fish and chips are as good as any I have ever had, although a bit expensive at $19 and when you pay with a credit card they use square that always asks for a tip. Glad I left a tip as the food was well worth it. First off the chips are thick, fresh, and hand cut, maybe a rare instance I thought fries were better than Dick’s…Second the fish is a very long cut piece and there is only one, which at first seems like a small portion, but in the end it was a lot of fish. The batter is on the thick side, but I loved it and the fish was substantial and flaky white. Also, their tarter sauce is amazing. I will definitely go back, maybe next time try the lobster roll. Bottom line you got try PF, well worth it."
