"I took my daughter to The Green Chilli for a birthday dinner and we were very impressed. Our chicken chat starter and the mixed tandoori starter were tasty, but huge, so we may just share a starter next time. I had a chicken tikka dansak for my main course. My daughter had a chicken tikka balti, which she asked to be made extra hot. Our waiters were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, and the chef came out to make sure my daughter was happy with the level of spice, which was a nice touch. Neither of us could finish the amount of food we had, and the restaurant was happy to box up the leftovers for us to take home."

"We had a warm welcome and attentive service. Poppadoms with a nice little salad kept us amused until the main event arrived which was surprisingly quickly. Lamb tikka shazlek sizzling straight out of the tandoori oven including peppers and onions with a side dish of mild curry sauce. But the highlight was the nan bred, freshly baked, soft and moist. As nice an Indian meal as I have had for years. Reasonably prices with old worlde touches such as warm wipes and after eights. We will be back"
