"Appalling food in freezing conditions what more needs to be said. The very worst looking tasting fish cake I have ever seen with an indescribably off putting appearance followed next course with cold mushrooms and cold steak and the soggiest garlic fries imaginable and some! Fortunately I had not opted for desert but my wife’s Eton Mess was rock solid and she said she was unable to get it into her spoon for fear of breaking the wine glass that it was served in. We were guests of a friend having a birthday so we’re not in the position to complain but despite our best efforts our friend noticed even if the staff chose not to."

"Well we went to Wolseys for the elite secret supper and I can honestly say I never even realised that it was the restaurant that has the rather annoying radio ads with the kid wanting to go because kids eat free! Well what an event, trains, goats, music and steak all in the same night! We met central station and got the train to Bangor, headed quickly to the goats toe for a few beverages, then made our way to Wolseys, on arrival we have our own kind of private area and where greeted by the friendly staff, I'll get the negatives out of the way first, the decor slightly dated but was warm and comfy, the service was good in terms of the staff were natural and knew there stuff but the biggest problem for me was the length of wait for drinks and food, the wait was a bit long and wasn't even a mention from the staff about it: also slightly disappointed that the 2 desserts choice me and my wife would have eaten where not available! Now the positives, I liked Wolseys and will be back, as the food was good and the steaks that we got where lovely, I got beef and bird which was a 10oz rib eye or sirloin) and a southern fried chicken breast, some sweet potato fries and bbq sauce, the steak was cooked well and it was quickly eaten. One of the best things was the price of the jack Daniels single barrel! £3.90 I was really happy bout that lol so I had myself one, yet again an excellent event organised by the main man Stevie! Pity we had to make a dash for the last train but bring on the next event!!"

"Arabiata was the worst food ever very bland and the girlfriend chargrilled chicken wasn't even chargrilled,was put in the oven the waitress said..they said it comes on skewers didn't even....bit cumin powder over it for taste was on a two cubes chicken that's all was eaten with a bit of the bread and the rice was cous cous...honestly the worst place I've ever eaten in....., the coke and the wine was tasty but ruined our wee date night...went to the chippy station bout 7 doors down for battered sausage was great. I'm realy sorry about this bad review but if it says on the menu what your ment to get that's what it should be... Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Very impressed by service, eating and cocktails from here! Our waitress charlee was very friendly and attentive at dinner, constantly asked if we need another cocktail in which we never answered no. even though the place was incredibly busy, she has never been out of the eyes. I couldn't blame. will come back soon!"
