"We were initially juli at his beautiful resort hotel. I have to say our room was really the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. it was a two-bedded, two bathroom suite with a living room, came in in the main bedroom, 3 large flat screens, a revolving veranda with view of the harbour and a private jacuzzi for only my family of 4. we all loved the room as much as it provided us the space we need as family of 4. the cover and jacuzzi was just the best and so a nice note. the personal was professional and very courteous and the restaurant had attached tasty eating. the hotel is a first-class location and it is not necessary to get her car out of the go, as the city is very easy to foot. go safely along the sandbar in the harbour. we would have stayed longer, but the hotel was booked and we couldn't extend our stay. we are coming back in definitiw!"

"I visited here for lunch After a hike in Acadia. The ambience was beautiful; they also had outdoor seats! I tried the only vegetarian dish on the C Pasta menu Spaghetti pomodorro! And it was, okay. Not really something I loved or wanted to write home. It was Italian cuisine, but not quite true for rich Italian flavors and herbs!"

"We were looking for some good Italian food after having eaten a LOT of Lobster and Clam Chowder over the past few days, and were lucky enough to find Mama Dimatteo’s! We had a very good dinner there! We were so happy to find this place! My wife had the Fettuccine Alfredo and thought it was pretty good. I had the Eggplant Parmesan and it was delicious! It was quite possibly the best I’ve had! We also enjoyed some Baked Cheese as an appetizer and loved it! Our server, Alex, was very friendly, helpful, gracious, and attentive! Parking in Bar Harbor is challenging this time of year, but we found an on street spot about 2 blocks away. No biggie… They have indoor and outdoor seating available. We had made reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. I would recommend this place highly and will return myself again when I can!"
