"Visited Alsace almost as soon as Americans were permitted in to France. We stayed in a VRBO property outside of Eguisheim and this was the optimal restaurant for our first night, having spent much of the day driving and not wanting to have to drive...anywhere. It was a lovely walk through the village and our evening could not have been more perfect. The staff spoke enough English to make up for any gaps in my French and provided excellent attention not hanging over you every second but also being attentive to any needs we had. We ordered a prix fixe menu and they were very accommodating to my wife not wanting the pate de foil gras, giving her an excellent fish option. Really enjoyed their wine list it offered a good range of prices and our server made some excellent suggestions (we even ended up visiting one of the wineries the next day to get some wine to bring home to the States. Made a perfect start to our holiday in Alsace."

"Yesterday evening for dinner in a very busy night, had to wait in the line, but was in no time before the wait. very friendly bubbly lady serving, was polite and very friendly, eating was very tasty and was with. little waiting time. husband had bbq nasty and he thought they were amazing, I had one of the ocean trout specialties and the children had some meal times from the children's menu. The children loved the playground, I am sure they would have stayed all night there if I left them. Bar staff, where just as friendly and happy to help me choose a wein as they don't have a list, but knowing that they are about the weeping they wear, had helpful in choosing something. very happy with eating and service. easy. will definitely return."
