"Excellent meat quality grocery, especially meat. Definitely missing this place after leaving Baton Rouge.Ask the butcher for cuts of meat you want and you will always be satisfied. The price of meat is very reasonable and the quality is superb. The vegetable are excellent also, especially bitter melon and okra. Unlike some stores where you need to pick through the okra to find tender ones, Kased always stocks the soft and tender okras that are good for stir frying. The selection of spices is also excellent.The lamb and goat are fantastic, and is probably the highlight of Kased. The quality is levels above any chain grocery stores and is well worth the price."

"Even with two left feet and complete white boy rhythm, Rick and the staff have been able to get my wife and I to enjoy dancing. The party affords us the opportunity to watch those who are more experienced and learn from them, as well as having time to make new friends. I would say we have gone from blundering idiots to well seasoned beginners. If we would practice more, we could be amazing... That's all on us. Rick, Dan, Kelsey and Scout are great!!! We miss seeing Alex every week, but he still comes around from time to time."

"We had a great lunch here. My little toddler was a bit noisy at times but the staff were so accommodating to him and I always appreciate that, especially an upscale restaurant like this. Hummus tepenade with pita was so good, the Cocha Salad was a must it could have done with more of the topping items but the greens were perfect. Lovely place, I'd like to revisit with just my hubby and enjoy a glass of wine and a snack in the future."

"I haven't had Popeyes in about 5+ years, and the quality surely isn't what it once was. For some reason, I wanted friend chicken today (only to later find out it was National Fried Chicken Day), and I figured I would hop over and grab something easy. First of all, I will say that the service was great. The young man who took my order was very clear and made sure what I wanted was correctly what he heard (their speaker was a bit squeaky). He was polite and friendly at the window as well. As for the meal, well, I wasn't all that impressed with the chicken. In the past, Popeyes was so much better. The chicken was smaller than most places and the skin wasn't nearly as crisp as before. The chicken was cooked well enough, but could have been a lot better. I likely won't head back anytime soon as there are many many other options in BTR, but it was not a horrible experience."
