"I have only been here once, but I will be going back soon! I felt welcomed.. The owner cared about my needs... Asked questions.... Friendly, and I could observe that she has a bunch of regulars!!! Which says that this food is good!. I was not disappointed. I ordered Red Snapper (fish) and Fried Shrimps with order of rice and beans Good Job!!! Right off the freeway. Easy to get to. 91 fwy off cherry exit. Recently went, and my order was wrapped tightly, so no spills on the way home. I appreciate that! Smoothed turkey wings and beef ribs Mac n cheese red beans and rice! Feed 4 people! I didn't get oxtail this time, but they are good!"

"Soul Food! Where???? This place is HORRIBLE and needs to shut down ASAP!!! From the BURNT CORNBREAD, watery MACARONI AND CHEESE and overly cooked and small amount of OXTAILS!!! It?s very distasteful how you would add beans and rice as a filler on the plate because you didn?t want to add a good amount of oxtails!! I?m highly disappointed and would not RECOMMEND!!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!! You?ve been warned!!!"

"I've been coming here for more then 15 years since High school and till this day they still have my favorite carne sada burrito best with sour cream and cheese! I've tried more then 40+ burrito spots and for some reason I still keep coming back here I don't know what it is with there carne sada or how they marinate the steak and i like steak with fat and it has a good amount of fat. Also the beans in the burrito is also good my ex-wife always needs it to be removed but only because she never really liked beans on anything. Also there hot sauce is the best they make it from scratch so just the flavor of the sauce is amazing with the burrito! I don't know if I love this place cause of the memories I had walking home from school I stopped by here a lot of just cause it really does taste so amazing lol Let me know what you guys think if anyone else have tried this spot!"

"Cheap eats! Both good bad. Most everyone knows about Costco's cheap hot dogs pizza, both by the slice whole. Both are cheap, filling a guilty pleasure that some can't resist. On this particular visit, however, my curious appetite wanted to try Costco's new 1/3 lb cheeseburger, made with organic beef. It's big, I'll give it that. The cheeseburger is quite large, and can easily fill up the tummy. Too bad the organic beef was underseasoned and lacking in flavor, despite being organic. Meatloaf is what came to mind. Add to that the sloppy construction that went to assembling my burger, in addition to the lack of tomato oversight, and I was over my burger before I even finished it. I also choose to have burgers lettuce-wrapped, but Costco doesn't give customers that option. Service was okay. The line was long but moved at a pretty brisk pace. Ample seating, which quickly fills up during lunch dinner hours. Parking is at the Lakewood Center Mall. Although not a fan of Costco's new 1/3 lb cheeseburger, I still find their other offerings good cheap fare for when I want something quick. I've never been a member, as I don't see the purpose of paying membership dues to shop, but on the rare occasion I find myself at the Costco food court, I'd have a hard time not indulging in a hot dog or slice of pie."
