"It was ok but expected better. The food is reasonably priced, as is the wine. I had the pulled pork, which was completely overwhelmed by the sickly sweet sauce. My daughter had the spinach pizza which was “ok”. My granddaughter made the best choice with the sea bream was delicious. Service was strange. The chap who served us was over us like a rash at first, not giving us nearly enough time to choose after we arrived. He came back few minutes and this became annoying as we weren’t in any rush, having had long drives that day. After our food had been served, he then didn’t come to check if everything was ok. This didn’t happen until we’d finished, when a lovely staff member called Lyn noticed we’d been left alone for a long time. She was really nice and took time to ask us how the meal was, and whether we’d eaten at one of their restaurants before. We had a lovely chat with her and left the restaurant feeling really appreciated. I’d definitely go back there if in the area, but would probably order the fish, or a steak."

"Service a bit slow but very friendly staff. The waitress brought the wine to me, put in next to the glass and walked away leaving me to not only poor it but to undo the bottle which was very tight. I have never experienced that...before. The food however was a 10 out of 10. Very expensive but enjoyable"

"Lovely village pub with a warm welcome. Does a lovely pint of Guinness prices aren't too high. Good carpark outside seating, some covered; plus one amusing sign that bought a smile."

"Staff christmas get together. 40 of is, excellent atmosphere, bar staff very helpful and friendly and coped well. The buffet food was delicious, couldnt have asked for more. Great effort by all. HUGE THANK YOU to everyone."
