"I found this place because it's attached to the hotel I stayed in (Hotel Tulipa, which is awesome by the way). The first time I went in there I was greeted by a very nice girl who became my friend over the few days I was in Braganca. Turns out I would eat every meal here for a few days (except when it was closed on Sunday) because it's that good. I had an appetizer, pizza, small bottle of local wine and desert and it was easily one of the best meals I've ever had (very reasonable too approximately 15euros. Big, tasty pizza at a great price and you can watch the man toss the dough and make it if you sit close enough. He's full of laughs and smiles as he makes the pizza. Pasta dishes are plentiful and tasty. Many different pizzas to choose from. Also, several desserts. It gets very busy around the lunch hour so get there a bit early. A must eat in Braganca! Enjoy!"

"We wanted a change of pace from Portuguese cuisine, so we looked up Italian restaurants. Restaurante a Gondola met our expectations. A small plate of cold antipasti cheese, olives etc) was brought to the table. It’s not free, so if you don’t want it, tell the waiter. We also got a plate of garlic bread. Better by far than the humdrum antipasti! The bread was baked in the wood burning pizza oven, and was warm, crusty and garlicky. We all had pasta for main course. Tagliatelle with salmon—very good; spaghetti bolognese also very good; spaghetti a la arabbiata so-so—very little sauce not at all spicy. We all 3 had gelato for dessert were very pleased with the intense flavors. Portuguese wines recommended rather than Italian. This would be a great place for bambini kids). The pizzas dinner plate size) looked awesome. I am sorry no one tried one. English not spoken well, but the servers try hard to communicate. I managed to get my pasta w/o anchovies, as I wanted."

"We wanted something else than a „typical Portuguese cuisine“ after few weeks so we went for this pizzeria in the neighborhood. It is simple restaurant, interior not very nice and welcoming. The pizzas were just ok, nothing special. The best was probably the staff. Although they spoke only Portuguese and we just failed to understand most of what they said, they just kept trying The chef came to ask if everything is to our liking, waitress did her best to explain the wine list and dessert menu. On top of that, I accidentally knocked the glass off the table, so the shards went across half of the floor, yet they kept the smile, waved the hand that nothing happened….very friendly. Overall – cheap place, good food. Nice for a change, probably not for a frequent visit."

"Whenever I see a Pizza Hut and it is lunchtime I know that I am going to eat well. The quality in the ingredients is of the highest and the crust is perfect. Prices might be higher than in other pizzerias but you know the quality is also high. They don't have fifty types of pizzas, as some places do, but who needs so many flavours that might vary in one ingredient. The salads are also very good"
