"I came here because I was craving for Baumkuchen. It was pretty early for dinner so we enjoyed the quietness. The menu did not contain any pictures so we had no idea how big the portion would be. A friend and I ordered gyoza, soba, mix mushrooms and grilled salmon. The waiter came with huge plates every time : especially the grilled salmon, wait, three big slices of salmon I meant. We were really full even before we ordered the dessert. But Baumkuchen was the very first reason why we were there, so I ordered it anyway. And voila, only a few minutes later, a huge plate of Baumkuchen with two scoops of ice cream was served on our table. It was delish and maybe it would be a lot more enjoyable had I not eaten so much before :"

"This is a nice little restaurant on Brunswick Street only about a 5-10 minute drive from the CBD. Surrounding street parking. The service is very friendly and genuine. The food is really tastey and cooked well. I've been here a few times and I've never had to wait too long for my meals, even when it's been busy. They have beers, Asahi on tap. A range of dishes with rice and miso soup combos, sushi and other dishes I'm yet to try. It's a casual type dining restaurant in a prime location with a gelato shop a few doors up for dessert and New Farm Cinemas across the street. I'd recommend this restaurant. Enjoy!!"

"We had a fantastic dinner here last night. It is Japanese tapas so order as you go via an iPad. Most of the food was quick to arrive. The sushi took longer. The Renkon chips are lotus chips but cut thicker than any I’ve had elsewhere and we’re quite heavy. The eel was the highlight for me tender and delicious. My only criticism is that there are no vegetable dishes. There is vegetable tempura which of course is deep fried. A vegetable stir fry dish and maybe some miso eggplant would be great additions to the menu."

"Worst Chicken Karage I've ever eaten. Six pieces of chicken that tasted like the tempura chicken nuggets you get at Coles. No flavour, No BBQ sauce as stated and hardly any mayo. Even the rice was flavourless. To make matters worse one of the men in the kitchen was picking something out of his teeth with his finger and then proceeded to cook food on the stove top. Will not be eating here again.<br>"
