Questa sera abbiamo invitato dei cari parenti a degustare un buon piatto di pasta italiana in questo locale diretto con perizia dal Cav. Felice Ambrosio. "In the city for lunch, we found this open space, a quasi plaza, in the front La Stampa, a beautiful view of the hustle and bustle of the city from a regrettable distance. Of course we had pasta, you can choose either freshly made or dried, but there is also a varied menu if you prefer other fare. We tried some fish what was excellent. Service is professional and attentive. Heating was too high, but if you ask, they will turn it off. Nice place for lunch."

"A fabulous Belle Epoque restaurant in Retiro, very centrally located. Over 40% of Argentenians are of Italian ancestry, so it is not surprising that the Italian immigrants would have a club, and what a club it is. We were there as part of a Road...Scholar group, and ate early, but by the time we left, the restaurant was full. From the elegant entryway and foyer to the handsome dining room at the rear, the whole building was spectacular. A garden off the restaurant must be lovely during the day. Our menu was truly authentic Italian Argentinian food and delicious. Good priced and good tasting wines too. Go for a special experience."

"Italian business community in Buenos Aires has its meeting point at the Circolo. This magnificent building, with a beautiful garden, is now open to general pubblic. The menu offers a wide range of italian/argentinian food. Not a totally true italian kitchen, since the italian is mispelled both in the menu and in some of the recipes. But this is commonproblem these days in Buenos Aires. The price is right, and the setting is very nices, expecially if your table is at the bow window facing the garden."
