"Having heard such good things this was overall a disappointing experience. Service was poor considering the restaurant was at half capacity. Starters took way too long to come out (45mins) and was cold, had to ask for table water 3 times, overall food was average, nothing outstanding."

"Me and my friend visited here on Tuesday, was really lovely so much to choose from! The position size for the curry was HUGE perfect for sharing but definitely worth the price. Our waiter was really friendly will definitely be visiting here again."

"My partner and I love pizza express and have done for years. Upon arrival it took the manager (I assume the manager because all other staff were in uniform and he wasn’t) a good minutes to acknowledge us waiting in the doorway to be...seated. No hello, just ‘can I help?’ So we asked for a table of two by the window if possible. He rolled his eyes, huffed, pretty sure he murmured something under his breath and stomped off to set the table we had requested. My partner and I were a little confused by this reaction and made us feel uncomfortable. minutes later he came back over to us at the front door and said ‘follow me’ then showed us to the table, we said thank you so much, we really appreciate it but didn’t get a response from him, he turned on his heel and marched off. I’ve never been so confused . The other ladies that served us and took our orders were lovely just a shame that a manager like that brings the team down! We won’t be retuning to the Camberly restaurant but of course will be returning to other pizza express’!"

"Hadn’t had a takeaway from here for a while due to a bad experience last time so we usually go to Paprika these days but thought we would give the local another chance. The order took well over the hour to deliver and being less than 1/2 mile away was pretty poor I had a chicken vindaloo, my son had a chicken korma. The curry sauces were ok on both but the chicken in both curries was as tough as it comes which ruined the meal and puts Vindaloo to the back of the queue again, if fact taking into account the leathery naan breads and the poor popadums I won’t be buying from here again. "We had taken away from here and it was really nice, so we thought we were trying to get the restaurant experience. I can honestly say that I was impressed that eating was excellent as expected, the staff was very friendly and very fast to serve us. the restaurant itself is small, but comfortable, I actually like it. it was recently renovated and everything looks fresh and very clean. everyone was made to feel welcome everywhere and we were greeted with a smile at leaving. I would recommend this place to everyone."
