"We chose Hakka’s for our wedding anniversary meal, as we wanted something special. We were very pleased with the whole experience. This is a high quality restaurant. Like other high quality restaurants, and in contrast with more mediocre ones, the ingredients are all fresh. This means that the range of what can be ordered depends on what has been bought in. As with other very good restaurants, what makes it first class is the quality of the dishes provided. We had the seafood salt and chilli platter for two to start, the best example of this dish we had ever had. This was followed by two exquisite seafood dishes (one scallop and one prawn), with an egg fried rice that made us realise that even this staple dish can be done better than one is used to."

"There are limited parking spaces outside the restaurant and beware of your sat nav take the wrong way to Midsummer Common to come Elizabeth Way not to the left towards Cambridge United's floor. In addition to tables in the main area, there are also a number of half stands on the open kitchen and these are very comfortable and offer you a great view of the kitchen. We used a Groupon coupon, but we could have something outside the menu, apart from the seafood when we paid the difference. We started with the traditional crispy duck and pancake as the favorite dish of my daughter and the duck was beautifully crispy and tasty, but we could have done with more sauce. I had the double boiled belly pig for main and although it had a lot of chilis the heat was exactly right, although it was an enormous amount of garlic! My daughter had the audio noodles with shrimps and pigs and that was really delicious and a very generous platelet. The delicious food was washed with a cheap Sardinian red at £17.95. All employees were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely return."
