"The food at this restaurant was the best I had during my stay in Canico. The self serve salad is a nice touch and unique amongst the restaurants in the area. The grilled Tuna was very impressive."

"Local onde se consegue desfrutar de uma boa refeição sem gastar muito dinheiro.Possui dois espaços (um dentro do restaurante e um outro num pequeno alpendre). O espaço interior é pequeno, mas ideal nos dias mais frios. O exterior é mais amplo, mas nos dias mais frios não é o mais recomendável.Recomenda-se a reserva de mesa caso se pretenda almoçar com grupos. O lombo de porco recheado com alheira é uma excelente opção"

"Uma das piores espetadas que comi nos últimos anos! A espetada de carne de vaca foi pedida bem passada, mas o bem passado neste restaurante é esturricado... Carne de vaca sem qualidade, batatas fritas cheias de óleo... Relativamente à espetada de frango, estava crua. Chamei uma das empregadas de mesa e mostrei-lhe... Nem um pedido de desculpa, nada fez! Uma experiência a não repetir! O económico não tem de ser de má qualidade, mas neste caso o barato sai caro!"

"I consider this restaurant worth recommending. I was there yesterday and I couldn't decide what to choose but fortunately a nice lady advised me and directed me to grilled octopus and it was delicious. The staff there is very helpful and nice. My friend who was there with me has indigestion but a very nice lady helped her choose the things she can eat so great. I highly recommend this restaurant the food is delicious and homemade"

"Firstly, note that the location is not as shown on the Trip Advisor Map. It is much nearer the sea, in the same row of shops & restaurants as Habbeas Coppus and Snack Bar Mare.It is a friendly little place with about 8 tables outside, and the same inside. We went there on a wet and windy evening, but were still able to sit outside because they pulled a transparent "side" down, which provided plenty of shelter for the outside tables.The man who runs it is so friendly, and speaks excellent English, and the food was delicious. We went there specificially to try some fish dishes which were on their menu which we had not seen anywhere else - parrot fish (very nice) and stonebass fish (absolutely delicious!), with a glass of wine, and we followed it with the cheesecake which was excellent and came in huge slices. As well as a good selection of food, with prices lower than some of the places in the area, they also serve cocktails. Would thoroughly recommend it. It was the best meal of our holiday (and we had a lot of very good meals!)"
