"I could not get a reservation at East Matunuch Oyster Bar, but I found this gem instead. An old inn with a modern yet rustic feel. The food was fantastic for all three people in my party. Shared the brussel sprout appetizer and the special artichoke appetizer yummy, we scraped the plates clean. Then we all had different entrees and found them delicious. I had the Curious George adult beverage which was very good. Great time eating and drinking, but passed on desert unfortunately because we were so pleasantly full. The wait staff was excellent friendly and attentive. At the end of the meal they told us that a jazz band was set to begin playing in a different part of the inn if we wanted to check it out. We did and stayed for a bit longer enjoying the music and wonderful woman singing. All in all we had a very enjoyable evening. Excellent food and great atmosphere to an inn with history and character!"

"If you're thinking of stopping at the hitching post for seafood consider hitching Up to a different establishment. We ordered whole fried clams and clam fritters and they were both terrible. The clams were $25 and were small with no bellies and a very small portion . Very disappointing. The fritters which they claim to be famous for, were nothing but fried dough. We had to dig through to look for pieces of clam and found one or two finger nails size pieces. To give credit where credit is dueSee pictures."

"We came to the area to camp for our 1 year anniversary and stumbled on this place for a late breakfast and loved it! Small, but quaint, with a walk up window and plenty of outdoor seating, the food was amazing. Want to talk about a rare steak? They got that. The coffee was great and the staff was kind and attentive. Thank you!"
