"I was in Chicago my whole life and it was only recently that I was introduced into Rockit Bar and Grill. I was sold the first time I came in. The atmosphere is great and the service is even better. I go there every time I want to eat a big burger, or just sit up in the lounge and watch the game. I recommend you try Rockit Bar and Grill."

"My siblings and I grew up watching One Plate at a Time. Rick introduced us to Mexican cuisine beyond the tacos and burritos that we knew. We admired not just his passion for the food but his love and respect for the culture. Needless to say, a siblings trip to Chicago would not be complete without a stop at one of Rick 's restaurants. We tried not to hype ourselves up, mostly because we tend to get disappointed this way. We had reservations at 4:30pm because that was all that was available. We ordered a few appetizers and they were all delicious. The chicken tortilla soup was flavorful and while it had the components of a typical tortilla soup it was very different. this was the same with everything we ordered. Familiar yet completely different and incredibly delicious. The menu is ever changing so even if I list everything we had it may not be there next month. I will say we enjoyed most of the dishes we ordered and even the ones we thought were 'okay ' had elements we really enjoyed. Whatever you do, definitely get a dish with Mole. All three of us couldn 't get enough of the mole sauce in each plate. All in all we were incredibly satisfied with our meal and we can 't wait to come back and try Topolobambo and XOCO. Note: We shared a small dessert here but we also went to XOCO for the churros and chocolate dip. Best churros and chocolate I 've ever had."

"Many vegan options! Select all the vegetables you want and then select from protein options such as Tofu, Seitan and Vegetable Pakora; then choose a sauce like coconut curry, red curry, peanut sauce, etc. and take it to the grill. Put a white stick in your bowl so that the chefs know to grill your selection away from the non-vegan selections. Some of the sauces are not vegan, but there are many that are and they can offer you a list."

"Looking at the vast majority of the positive reviews, it seems like you guys are doing well. You are providing an exotic flavor experience at a reasonable price. Who am I to critique if others enjoy it. I will have to make some observations on the authenticity and execution of the dishes.The Honolulu Chicken and the Kilauea were good. Tasty (ono), well cooked and decent portions of the entrees. My daughter had their version of Luau Pork... A rather sad attempt at Kahlua Pig. It was dry, overly salted and bathed in smoke seasoning (far too much). There was no hint of Alaea Salt (Hawaiian Red Salt) or banana leaves that give it a true Luau flavor. Seeing that the city won 't let you cook the pig in an imu... You could get a similar result in a crockpot. It takes longer, but the results are outstanding.Now on the saddest part of the plate lunch, the rice was dry and slightly hard (which was passable with the sauces provided). Worse was the Mac Salad . It seemed rushed. It was a little firmer than al dente, but overly starchy like it wasn 't rinsed off after cooking. The mayonnaise was watery and it was bland without seasoning. On the island you typically find onion, carrots, celery, light salt, pepper and sometimes paprika. The mayonnaise seemed more generic than the Kewpie Mayo or even Hellmann 's mayonnaise. The Mac Salad is the staple of a plate lunch on the islands. It can make or break a get together.I have to apologize for being a local food snob. I 've spent many years on the island making many of the same dishes. I just want to make some suggestions to better improve the authenticity and flavors of Hawaiian Bros. I would like to try some of the other entrees. I 'm curious to try your version of a spam musubi.Can I recommend adding Karaage Style fried chicken to the menu? It does very well on the island. It would be a break from the grilled chicken options you already have on the menu. Having some single serve furikake packets might do well for us displaced locals.Mahalo for the experience. I look forward to trying you guys again."

"Came here the second time, but it was one hour before closing. However, they decided to close the dinning area but did not tell when I placed the order. I got Chicken Shawarma Baba Ghanoush Bowl that came with a pita bread which unfortunately it's a bit difficult to eat without sitting down. Would have ordered a sandwich if I have knew the information. Luckily I was able to cross the bridge to the plaza to sit down. View was great but it's cold and so is food."
