"Our server, also use to be a chef, Koji Matsushita, has tremendous exceptional customer service. He speak well English. There were two chefs, sorry for forgetting your names. They did a wonderful job preparing our meal. Food is great. I do recommend the kobe beef over the other waygu beef, but of course very similar."

"The food was really good. Our chef used his phone and translated words from japanese to Chinese to communicate with us on the sauces he used and how well done we wanted our beef. He also engaged in small conversation with his limited English. It was quite funny but a very friendly and cosy environment. We really enjoyed it a lot."

"They focus on vegetables as they named their restaurant yasaiya, which literally means vegetable area. A little pricy for a volume, but it was delicious. Good place to go with non-vege friends when they want to eat meat. I had the vegan course."

"Ordered the 180 gram kobe fillet and 180 gram kobe sirloin, sapporo beer and two garlic rice and total bill was yen 18,000. Not cheap, but quite a steal with the quality that they serve. Service was good, wait staff were friendly. Food was excellent. My goodness.. the beef just melted in your mouth.. so much flavors. Have to try!"

"We got to check out this teppanyaki place inside the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay hotel because we received a coupon for a dinner for two with wagyu beef, lobster, and champagne and the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Our dinner started out with a glass of Moët Chandon Imperial, some grilled vegetables, and sliders. The restaurant has a strong focus on using healthy and sustainable ingredients from all over Japan and you can tell that even their vegetables are really fresh. You don’t even need to add the sauce or the salt that they provide on the side, but it’s definitely fun to try each one. We loved the lobster and the two types of wagyu steak, and the garlic rice was also cooked to perfection. Our dinner included dessert and we were taken to the hotel lobby area for the dessert and tea. We have passed by this hotel a few times and while it didn’t seem like anything special from the outside, we were surprised at how elegant it was on the inside. The lobby was very spacious and relaxing for us to enjoy our desserts and tea and the service at both the hotel and the restaurant was excellent. The only downside of this place is the location because the closest train station is the Takeshiba Station on the Yurikamome line, which is not the most convenient. However, we will definitely be back for the teppanyaki."
