"Just really small critiques. Food was great had the bruschetta to share which was really good. I had the Venuti special pizza. Definitely no complaints. Base was crispy. Toppings were perfect. My companion had the spaghetti marinara. Sauce to pasta ratio was a bit off plus the spaghetti was slightly overcooked. But asked the chef for some bread to mop up the sauce so happy happy. Tiramisu was awesome. Affogato with frangelico for me... coffee was really doing it for me. . Can truly say one of he best Italian meals I've had in Christchurch. Keep up the good work guys"

"I love this restaurant! It has great character and ambience, and the service is fantastic. No pretences, just fantastic food at a really good price.<br/ We have had both takeaways (ready quickly and delicious) and dine in experiences. <br/ I especially appreciated the info in the answer phone message advising us of availability over the next few days a great idea for efficient booking!<br/ <br/ My new favourite!"

"Wow! After a long day of travelling and being hit with freezing wet weather I just wanted to go somewhere that felt warm and cosy. Usually the biggest issue when eating out is that I am plant based. Drove down the road and decided on Italian. Approached the front door and there was a sign...PLANT BASED MENU AVALIABLE. Super happy. Ordered the Gnocchi ai Tartufo and oh my gosh it was superb. Tasted amazing. Melted in my mouth. Best I have ever had even better than my Nonnas. We also ordered the Ortolana and again the freshness and taste was amazing. Partner washed it down with a Negroni or two and said it was the best he has had. We will always come back here when visiting Chch no matter where we are staying. The restaurant is cosy. The staff were lovely. Book to go, you won't be disappointed and even if your not plant based order from that menu cause the flavors will blow your mind and not your waist."

"Delicious food and amazing service. Prices are super reasonable. Absolutely loved it! Awesome Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, best pasta and lasagna with tasty salad and bruschetta we had in New Zealand! Staff was super friendly, very welcoming and warm. Homemade ice cream was awesome! Definitely recommend! 5 thumps up."
